I am adamant, womankind; pink lips are the only way to go. I have assembled a list of matte pinks that should be available at your local pharmacy.
I specifically narrowed down the options to those that are pleasantly mild pinks, not over-dramatic fuchsias. I'm trying to woo a suspicious public, you see.
Mattes can be a tad diva-like in that lips must be buffed free of any dead skin cells prior to applying. I find that if I am reapplying on the go, I heavily apply balm, rub with a tissue, and those flakes come right off. Then I dab on the color.
For those who favor nude lipsticks, try a pale pink instead!

i am definitely of the nude lipstick type, but ventured into pink a couple months ago and love it. the one i have is from rimmel moisture renew and the color is 380 vintage pink. it looks like this: http://xxxbeautyredefinedxxx.blogspot.com/2010/12/rimmel-moisture-renew-lipstick.html second picture, but i think it looks more shiny on her lips.
ReplyDeleteEmbrace the pinks! That's my mission, to preach the perfection of the pink lip.
