I've appreciated the irony of Chanukah and the assimilated Jews before. But, seriously, Chanukah is about fundamentalism defeating cosmopolitan tolerance?! We're not the ones who put pigs and idols in the Mikdash! That's just as twisted as saying it's about love and goodwill to all men.
I know the person who writes Poppy and Prune, so it's nice to see her getting a shout out here!
